ततस्ताभ्यां कुमाराभ्यां वीराभ्यां स हरीश्वरः।
किष्किन्धां समुपागम्य वाली युद्धे निपातितः॥ ५१॥
English · Meaning
Then that lord of the monkeys, having approached Kiṣkindhā with those two princely heroes, Vālī was struck down in battle.
Having been ordered by Sugriva, the monkey king, the mighty ones, resembling mountain kings, set out everywhere across the earth. The transmitted form आदिष्टा is grammatically unexpected with the masculine plural subject; literally it is “ordered,” with its final form not agreeing in the expected way with “the mighty ones.”
The unabridged Sanskrit, 645 sargas, every verse numbered kanda.sarga.verse. Not a translation: this is the text every English witness is checked against, and the one the Sarvam pass translates. Whole-edition checksum is pinned through the TOC (corpus:check), not per page.
