Children's privacy

Suno Katha is made for children under thirteen and is set up so that a child never needs an account.

• Accounts belong to a grown-up who confirms they are over eighteen.
• Child profiles hold a first name, an age band and a face. No date of birth, no school, no location.
• Photos stay on the device unless a grown-up turns on likeness for one book. That one photo is then sent to the image provider for that book only and is not retained.
• Educator mode uses first names only and never photos or purchases.
• A grown-up can forget the device from the House drawer at any time, which erases everything above from that device. Deleting the account from Account → Controls removes the family's cloud data within 30 days.
