Privacy
Suno Katha runs on your device first. This page says exactly what leaves it, and what we keep when you sign in.
What stays on the device
- Child names, ages, faces and photos (downscaled, in browser storage).
- Kathas made at the desk, painted plates and storyteller recordings.
- Reading progress, badges, quiz results, time limits and the PIN.
- The basket, gift-card codes and print requests.
What leaves the device, and when
- A story brief, with the child's name replaced by a token, when the model polishes the words. Only if the house cloud or a model key is configured.
- A plate prompt, never carrying the name, when plates are painted.
- A family photo, only for the one book where you turn on 'Use our photo for the likeness'. It goes to the image provider with each plate prompt for that book, with your consent, and is not retained by us or used to train anything.
- Your email, when you sign in or place an order, to send the code, the receipt and the book link.
- When you sign in, your family's library, reading progress and orders are kept in our cloud so they follow you between devices. Card details go to Stripe, our payment processor, and never touch our servers.
Deleting your account
Account deletion is available from Account → Controls. It removes the family's cloud data (profiles, library, progress and orders) within 30 days. Receipts we are required to keep for tax are kept without any child data.
What we never do
- Train any model on your photos, stories or children.
- Sell or share data with advertisers.
- Show ads to children.
