Open an available story for shared reading. For a paper activity, ask pupils to draw a favourite moment and tell it back; library books are read in the house, while personalised kathas have their own PDF flow.

A 20-minute story circle
A suggested classroom activity for shared reading, listening and discussion. Adapt the timing and the chosen episode to your pupils; this is not a curriculum accreditation.
Open the classroom session plan- Before reading · 3 minutes
- Preview the age edition yourself. Name the tradition and the story you are sharing. Invite children to listen or observe without asking them to disclose their family's beliefs.
- Read and notice · 10 minutes
- Read one available episode aloud. Pause at a picture and ask what the characters did. Use English or Hindi as appropriate; a second language can be offered without turning it into a translation test.
- Respond and close · 7 minutes
- Invite a drawing, a spoken retelling or one question. Compare observations respectfully. Keep classroom first names on the shared device and use the grown-up controls before pupils handle it.
