Having considered this properly, he did not go to her. Then, while wandering in search of what was to be obtained, Prāptavyamartha saw a rope hanging beside a white house at night. Seeing it, his heart filled with curiosity; he grasped it and climbed up. The king’s daughter, thinking with a reassured mind, “This is indeed he,” honored him with bathing, food, drink, clothing, and the like, and, having taken her place on the bed with him, said: “With my limbs thrilled with joy and horripilation born from contact with his body, and attached to you merely by seeing you, I have given myself to you. Apart from you, no other husband will exist even in my mind.” Then why do you not speak with her?

Then, when a stick-bearing constable arrived there, summoned by a sexually independent woman who had given him a signal, that other man, who had previously fallen asleep, was seen by him; and, in order to protect the secret, he asked: “Who are you?”
